The severe late-winter storm struck the northeastern United States between midnight and 9 a.m., causing 35 departure cancellations and 48 departure delays at LAX, according to the FlightStatus website.
During that same time frame, there were nine arrival cancellations and 46 arrival delays at LAX, the website reported.
It was unclear if any of those flights were affected by Tuesday morning’s fog in the Southland.
